The cultists rely on more than brute force. The island is riddled with puzzles, traps, and shifting paths, and the sands themselves are cursed. Stray from the correct route, and the dead will rise from the dunes to hunt you.
Those who reached the ruins report worse still: the magic within is wild and broken. Spells twist or fail, attacks falter, and even seasoned fighters were forced to retreat. The cultists, however, seem untouched—as if they have absorbed the island’s sick magic into themselves.
